What you’ll love and what you won’t

The pool was pristine and the staff exceptionally friendly! Breakfast had plenty of choices, and my daughter adored the waffle-maker.

The hotel needs serious updates. the decor felt dated! Plus, noise from the outside was disruptive at night.

The staff was super friendly, especially Dan at the front desk. We enjoyed the pool and had a great breakfast before heading to Chicago, where we caught a Broadway show and visited the Shedd Aquarium. Perfect spot for a fun trip!

One downside was the limited breakfast options, as I wish there were more protein choices available.

We stayed here for 3 nights with my two young kids, and the room was spacious with a nice view of the sunset. The pool was a great spot for the kids to unwind, and breakfast had plenty of options to start our day right. The only small issue was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times, but it didn't ruin our fun. 😊

The pool area appeared meticulously maintained, which was a nice touch for families. I also noticed the common areas were easily accessible, making it convenient for us as a family with children.

A few more protein options at breakfast would enhance the experience.

the americinn was conveniently located near target and restaurants. the pool and hot tub were at a perfect temperature, which was great for my family. the staff was outstanding and super helpful, making our stay special. we loved the numerous plug-ins in the right places in our room.

The room was spacious and clean. I loved having a fridge and microwave for convenience. The bathroom had great counter space too. The beds were comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. Plug-ins were also in all the right places—super handy! Only downside was that there were some ants around, which was a bit gross.

Clean, spacious rooms make for a comfortable stay, perfect for families needing extra space. The pool area is well-maintained, providing a refreshing spot for the kids to splash around.

Had a few noise disturbances from nearby traffic, especially in rooms facing the highway, though it was manageable. Breakfast could use more protein options. a couple more sources would be nice. Also, the smoke detector went off unexpectedly. maintenance responded but didn’t follow up to fix it.

I found the Americinn By Wyndham, Galesburg, Il exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The lobby and common areas were welcoming, with brightly lit spaces that made it easy for me to navigate as a senior traveler.

More protein options at breakfast would be great.

Perfect Spot for Road Warriors

I stayed here recently and let me tell you, the staff went above and beyond! When we arrived, they even picked us up from downtown when we couldn't find a taxi. The breakfast selection was excellent, I loved those microwaveable sausage/egg/biscuit sandwiches.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable.
